  When I worked in Chester there were very few things that were as highly anticipated as a Chip O Dee fishcake and chip barm!
  Located right in the middle of Chester City center Chip O Dee is one of the best central chip shops you'll find in Chester. You can sit in and enjoy the food at your leisure or you can get a take away and roam the historic streets whilst enjoying your food.
  The quality of the food is always good (if not that healthy) and the staff are always friendly.

  OK place to get some fish and chips. Not my preference to get fish and chips here but if you're having a craving and your nearby... This is a place to get it. For cod and chips it'll cost u around £7.50. The fish was ok. The batter was thin and didn't have that important air pocket between the fish and the batter. Nonetheless it still had a crunch and wasn't too oily. It didn't have any seasoning so be sure to grab some salt and pepper with vinegar. They also have scampi, different pies and sausages of fish isn't your thing.
  
  You can take away your food or eat in the place. They have loads of seating so getting a table won't be a problem. The staff are cool and chill, and won't really bother you.
  
  They accept credit card or cash card so don't have have to worry about having cash.
